Flu Vaccination

What is flu and why get vaccinated?

Flu (Influenza) is a highly infectious disease. For most healthy people, a bad case of flu is worse than a heavy cold and often requires a few days in bed. However, for those with an underlying health condition, there is a risk of causing severe illness and developing serious complications from flu.

Getting your flu vaccination will significantly reduce your risk of getting flu, keeping your immune system at its strongest and relieving potential strain on the NHS

No-one wants to get flu.Apart from the harsh symptoms, many people are concerned about having a length of time off work. Others want to make sure they  not pass it on to the more vulnerable members of your family. Whatever the reason, having the flu vaccine against this year’s strain of seasonal flu can give you protection and peace of mind.
